Peach Sangria: From a Real Georgia Peach

Peach Sangria: From a Real Georgia Peach

It’s no secret that I’m from Peach County, GA. I *am* a Georgia Peach. No matter where I go, no matter what I do, that will always be a title of mine.

Tonight, I was feeling peachy. What? It’s only 5? Pfft… that’s late for a holiday weekend, people!

I thought I would share a quick and easy Peach Sangria recipe with you. I also made Henry a virgin version of it and he LOVES it.

Peach Sangria

You need the following ingredients:

  1. A peach or two, depending on how many drinks you want to make, peeled.
  2. Pre-made white wine Sangria. I love the Reál Sangria brand, personally.
  3. Mango or pineapple nectar (found in the Hispanic section of the grocery store).
  4. Sprite (optional, for virgin version)

Using a blender or magic bullet, puree the peach with a little sugar and a splash of water.

Grab a glass, put a little ice in it.

Pour a little peach puree, a little mango nectar and the rest Sangria.

I probably used 1 part peach, 1 part nectar, 2 parts Sangria.

Stir. Garnish with a peach slice, pineapple, cherries, nothing or all of the above!

Enjoy.

** For the virgin version, substitute Sprite for Sangria.

  3. Thanks for using Georgia Peaches in your recipe, and thanks for the mention of this post on Twitter!

    • Being from Peach County, I ONLY use GA peaches. More specifically, Pearson Farm and Lane peaches. Being BFFs with the Pearson and Lane kids since I was born, it’s kinda a requirement! :)
