causes i think about

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Georgia – The Ronald McDonald House provides care and comfort for the families of seriously ill, critically injured or medically fragile children being treated at area medical facilities. We strive to strengthen families by keeping them together in times of medical need and crisis. Since 1974, RMH Charities have been helping families during hard times that would normally put stress and strain on their home lives. In most Houses, one or two meals are provided daily for families staying there. It’s a wonderful place that offers hope and love for families.

The playroom in the Ronald McDonald House of Central Georgia is dedicated In Memory of Charlie from his friends and family who donated to the House after his death.

I had the privilege of serving on the Board of Directors at the Ronald McDonald House of Central Georgia after Charlie died and it gave me such great pleasure and felt like I was giving back!

The Children’s Hospital at the Medical Center of Central Georgia / Medcen Foundation

The Children’s Hospital. What do I say about The Children’s Hospital? I’m probably one of few people who took their child there and left without him and STILL loves the hospital! The staff at the PICU was nothing short of fabulous. We were treated with such respect and Charlie was treated like a king.

I had the honor of serving on the Board of Directors for The Children’s Hospital and think that was one of the best ways I could have spent my time.
